Had a lovely stay with great ocean views and a convenient location near the beach and restaurants. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Just a bit of a mixed bag with cleanliness in some areas, but overall, a nice spot to unwind.

Our hotel is set in a beachfront location just next door to coffee shops and restaurants, three cafes and beach, restaurants and bars.

I had 2 nights in Caloundra, spending the time here lovely. I had compact queen studio with balconies, a spa bath, as example. The breakfast was tasty and fantastic with coffee & tea and juice or coffee, as example, and the restaurant's offer was incredible. The service provided there was fantastic.
Sadly, but there was bad smell in some areas.

the huge bed and stunning beach view made up for some shortcomings. The pool and sauna facilities were a great bonus for relaxation, and being steps from Kings Beach allowed for lovely family moments. Dining at the adjoining Italian restaurant was a highlight.

The hotel had an exceptionally nice position, so close to everything we want to do. The room was spacious well appointed and great value with the car park pictures and a nice big balcony and even the table for a very very good stay for $ 310 a night...

The location is particularly good, 10 minutes' walk to Bulcock Beach. The room is beautifully presented with the balcony and nice views, for instance.

A Nice Getaway by the Beach
The hotel's proximity to the lighthouse made it a convenient choice. One good surprise was having laundry facilities available, which made my stay much more comfortable. I also indulged in the Caloundra Twilight Market, which offered a fantastic variety of food and artisan stalls for the whole family; it was a wonderful evening out!

really close to the main surf beach, kings beach. great views from apartment. very clean and nice decor very secure spa wonderful and the pool actually felt a litle warm , but still refreshing close to shopping in main centre and the ability to walk many places as it was very well situated.
very minor, no potato peeler and cutting board.

The culinary options nearby are killer! Pappar'delles serves up some good Italian treats just 0.3 km away, and with the beach just a skip away, you can enjoy breakfast at Pavilion Kiosk coupled with stellar views! Plus, the spacious facilities were an absolute win.
The room we were given was not what I expected. It felt more like a cramped studio minus a proper dining setup, especially tricky with a toddler in tow. And when I raised my concern, the staff didn't seem to understand my disappointment-good vibes did shine through, but I was left wishing for a better setup.

The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach, eliminating the need for parking hassle. The welcoming staff made us feel right at home, and the view from our 5th-floor apartment was stunning. Breakfast at Frocals was a fantastic perk, and the nearby dining options, including takeaway pizza from Domenico’s, added convenience. The tranquility of the area was refreshing, away from the hustle and bustle.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Shearwater is across the road from the beach and ocean pool and near some lovely restaurants, surf club and tavern. The room view of the ocean was beautiful and you can see the ocean from the bed! The pool and spa lovely. The bed was comfy and the room quiet.
The room I booked was very small, but then again it was a studio. It was smaller than I imagined and next time I would definately book at one bedroom.

Whale spotting in Caloundra 🐋
We had a room overlooking the ocean and actually spotted whales from our balcony! The view was so lekker, and we strolled to the local surf club for drinks and dinner, super close by. The little couch in the room was a nice touch too!
One thing I'd say is the hair dryer in the bathroom had some dodgy wires, a bit worrying!

This is the second time I have stayed here, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and well appointed and the facilities are all close at hand. It is a fabulous location for families. I would book again in the future.
My only very small critisicm is that the beds are not very comfortable and could do with a topper or something similar to make them less hard. Of course bed comfort is subjective depending upon what you are used to at home.
